Catherine Barry LLB came to the law after 20 years in Community Services in Victoria and NSW. Originally from Melbourne she moved to the Northern Rivers in 1996, where she studied law. Catherine’s been practicing law for the past 12 years in Byron Bay.
She advises and acts on property, leasing, commercial law and wills and estate law matters including on Superannuation.
She has appeared in the Supreme Court on both property and estate matters, including in 2021 to successfully defend a claim of adverse possession, on family provision matters, estate accounting and administration matters and guardianship issues.
